COVID-19 – Grants Payable To Businesses From £10,000 to £25,000

Many businesses with premises will qualify for a one-off cash grant and we summarise below the qualifying criteria:

a) Retail, hospitality or leisure businesses with a rateable value of between £15,000 and £51,000 can access an additional cash grant of £25,000.
b) Businesses eligible for Small Business Rates Relief or Rural Rates Relief will receive a one-off cash grant of £10,000 to help meet ongoing business costs.

Businesses will NOT need to apply for the Grants as eligible businesses will be identified through the business rates system and will receive the Grants once funds have been made available to the local Councils.

However, if you do not pay your business rates by direct debit or you qualify for small business rates relief, the Council will not hold any bank details for you. They will need you to confirm your business’s bank details in order to make a payment to you. Please complete their online form confirming these details so that they can award the grant via bacs to qualifying properties.
