Thomas Purkiss joined the business as an Accounts Trainee in June 2014 after completing a degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Salford. Since then he has been working towards his ACA qualification to become a chartered accountant which he completed in the early part of 2018 whilst also gaining vital experience on all aspects of accountancy within Alextra.
Now an Accounts senior within the business, Thomas has started working closely with some of the directors to build a small portfolio of clients which he manages. Thomas prides himself on providing clients with the support they need and helping them to integrate their accounting affairs with new technology, saving them time and money.
In his spare time Thomas enjoys attending Stoke City games, home and away, walking in the Peak district and volunteering for a local scout group which he has been a member of for over 15 years.
